| L. leichtlinii v. maximowiczii. From S Korea and Japan, in moist, peaty but well-drained soil by streams among scrubs and grass, at 300-600m. flowering in July and August. Stem to 2,5m. up to 10 flowers. Should be planted in almost pure leafmould and partial shade in a cool position. |
