blomster lysrød til pink, gror på kalkstens rock og under
træer, ikke fuld hårdfør. |

| C. libanoticum. Known only from Lebanon where it is very rare,
growing in the mountains E. oof Beirut from 750-1400 m. among
limestone rocks and under trees. Is was thought tobe extinct but was
recently rediscovered in small quantity. The young leaves appear in
winter and will survive sligh frost but are safer if protected in an
alpine house or frame. the leaves are thick, fleshy and heat-sharped,
with well rounded lobes; underneath they are deep shining red. Best
grown in apot or pan in the alpine house, in leafy, stony soil with
limeston, and kept dry and cool in summer. |
