| C. intaminatum. First found by E.K. Balls near the Cilician Gate
Pass in Turkey, this species covers most of the area in which C.
cilicium is found. It is however, quite distinct, the leaves are
similar to a C. coum and there are both plain and patterned
leaf forms. The flowers are the same shape as C. cilicium usually
white but occasionally pale pink. The veining to the flowers is pale
grey and there is no crimson marking at the base. Although hardy, the
plant is so tiny that is needs to be grown in a pot to be appreciated. |
